THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS

soaren

creation date - before 2020 surely
genre - psychological dystopia
themes - identity, family issues, miscommunication, flaws

main characters:

Eyme Asher

she's kinda sad and too calm but not as badly as her brother (Aristide) who's the actual loser. both of them are relatable to me in a negative way but they do improve in the story so that's a win

actual presentation:
Eyme is a quiet but strong-willed girl, who tries to make the world feel okay for herself. She is thoughtful and calm. She grew up in the Wall with Aristide, in a cold and strange atmosphere. She eventually ran away.

2025

Aristide Asher

he's symbolic for: self-hatred, overthinking, confusion, inaction, lack of courage, self-pity (unlucky boy)

actual presentation:
Aristide suffered deeply from childhood loneliness and developed severe self-esteem issues. He can be insensitive in his interactions and struggle to understand and bond with others. He is a bit impulsive and generally numb or disconnected from his emotions, aside from stress and a deep sense of despair regarding his identity and goals in life.

2021

Lix

he's the opposite of the siblings, way more impulsive and expressive, less hesitant and funkier although he also has a complex personality and strong flaws. I kinda associate him with ideas of breaking the norms, revolution and being unapologetic

2021 2021

so basically eyme and aristide are my evil versions and lix is who i might want to be more similar to. but this is a story i made a long time ago so even though it's still more or less relatable to me, these characters are not exactly me and i'm not exactly them and i'm definitely different/happier.

side characters:

Jiro Politan

he's a cutie pie although at first he's an idiot but he learns and becomes a good man (yay!). he gets in a relationship with eyme for a while. his hair is white and black under (don't ask, let's just say it's natural somehow).

2022 lowkey inaccurate (ignore the horns) 2022
